ANIMAL ADVOCATE
Greener cafeterias for a better future
Provide your students with an educational experience through our customized workshops, which promote understanding of important topics such as animal welfare, the environment, and health. Our instructors will visit your school and engage students in exciting discussions about how factory farming affects animals, people, and the planet.
Our workshops are tailored to your curriculum and the students' level, and we use interactive methods that spark curiosity and encourage reflection. Students get a unique opportunity to look at our food system from new angles and develop a deeper understanding of the complex interrelationships that affect us all.
We offer these different activities:
Workshops - interactive workshops where students actively participate. There is room for debate, group work, and lots of exciting learning (duration: 1-2 hours, recommended: at least 1.5 hours). BOOK A WORKSHOP HERE
Taste samples - Tastings and information about plant-based diets and veganism. Only offered in connection with workshops (duration: 10 minutes - 1 hour).
Information booths - booths with information about veganism, climate change, and animal rights, which students can visit to obtain information (duration: 30 minutes to 2 hours, recommended: 1 hour).
If information booths are not booked in connection with a workshop, they are currently only available in Greater Copenhagen.
What others say
“A really good and interesting presentation that forced the students to actively engage with some of their own values, which is what we want to achieve in philosophy.”
- Jon, philosophy teacher, Gefion
“I thought the workshop was good and varied, and that the students themselves were very engaged. I think they were sufficiently informed and provoked.”
- Freja, teacher, Roskilde Festival Folk High School
