Join us in making a difference

Do you want to make a real difference for dyrene?

As a volunteer with Dyrenes Alliance, you join a community fighting for real change for animals through activism, education, political pressure, and plant-based solutions.

No experience is needed, you don’t have to know anyone beforehand, and you don’t need to participate every week. You decide how much and how often you want to be involved.

What can you get involved in?

Opportunities vary over time and by location. For example, you can:

  • distribute flyers and other materials

  • take part in events, information tables, and demonstrations

  • assist with practical tasks, planning, or transportation

  • contribute online with writing, research, graphics, or social media

  • help strengthen a local group or run for a board position

Some volunteers join a few times a year, while others take on steady roles and more responsibility over time. Both are valuable.

How to get started

  2. We’ll get in touch and invite you to our Discord.

  3. On Discord, you’ll find current volunteer tasks, activities, and a community of fellow volunteers.

You’re not committing to a set number of hours—you choose which opportunities you want and have time for.

    Video Outreach

    We run a street campaign inviting people to try Virtual Reality. They wear goggles and headphones and experience life as a farmed animal—like a broiler chicken.

    Demonstrations

    We hold demonstrations against things like the sale of foie gras or battery eggs. We only hold legal demonstrations approved by the municipality/police and follow all guidelines.

    Brochure and Flyer Distribution

    We frequently organize brochure and flyer distributions to share information and inspire people. This can include facts about conditions in factory farming or fur farms or invitations to take part in VeganerUdfordringen.

    Sample Distribution

    We hand out vegan samples to inspire people to reduce their animal product intake. This could be hot chocolate, homemade cake, hot dogs, or whatever else we come up with.

    Petition Drives

    Collecting signatures is an easy and effective way to create change and show those causing animal suffering that people oppose animal abuse.
