News from the Association: Welcome our new chairperson
Unanimous vote: Victoria is the new chairperson
On November 30, we held an extraordinary general assembly at Dyrenes Alliance – something big is happening at Dyrenes Alliance! expresses excitement about the association’s new focus on fish. “Just because they look different from us — with scales instead of skin and gills instead of lungs — fish are often misunderstood. But we share so much with finned animals. For example, they often live in complex social groups, have distinct personalities, and feel pain and fear when harmed. At __TERM_2__, we fight for a world where fish are no longer abused, confined, or exploited by humans — and we won’t stop until every fish is free,” she states., who has worked for animal rights for years, was elected as a new board member at Dyrenes Alliance’s AssociationAnd not only that, every participant voted in favor.
We can hardly express how thrilled we are. Victoria, who has served as Vice Secretary General at Dyrenes Alliance, decided to leave the Office in October. But her new role as board chair means she will have an even greater impact on our association, and we’ll continue to see plenty of her.
Here’s our new chairperson, Victoria, in action at Dyrenes Alliance’s booth at the Youth People’s Meeting in September.
An association in growth
At Dyrenes Alliance, we’re proud to be an organization that constantly evolves, welcoming ideas and improvements with open arms. Our goal is to make the biggest difference for animals while creating the best possible community for young people. At the extraordinary general assembly, we also discussed how to optimize our mission, vision, and valuesWe’ll be taking a closer look at this in the new year, and you can have a say if you have great ideas to share.
In closing, thank you to everyone who joined the extraordinary general assembly.
See you again at the general assembly this spring!
