Internship at Plantespringet

Written by Katarzyna Mularczyk

After 3 months with Plantespringet, I can honestly say it’s been a true pleasure to be part of this organization. As an international student just starting my marketing career, I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity!

What I learned

Plantespringet is fueled by passion, a deep sense of purpose, and an unwavering love for animals. During my internship, I faced a variety of challenges both in the office and out in Copenhagen.
I took on traditional tasks like crafting the social media strategy and updating the organizational website—valuable skills I’ll carry forward in my career.
But my journey also held unexpected, thrilling experiences. Joining events like the Anti-fur Protest and the Climate Strike, and documenting them, was a unique experience no other workplace could offer.

Work Culture

I also want to highlight the fantastic work culture at Plantespringet. It’s an organization where everyone feels respected and valued. In this diverse, international environment, discrimination has no place and all are welcome. Team-building isn’t seen as wasted time, but as a vital way to strengthen bonds. Mental health is prioritized. Much of my learning came from colleagues who were endlessly patient and eager to help. Other internship programs and companies could learn from this.

Final Thoughts

I’m closing this chapter of my career with strong marketing skills and a deep reservoir of knowledge about animals and activism. If you’re seeking an internship and care about animal rights, don’t hesitate to reach out to Plantespringet!
