Dyrenes Alliance is an association for and by young animal lovers who want to make an active difference for animals, especially in agriculture.
We have local associations all over the country and over 2000 members.
Each local association has one or more coordinators who are employed in a paid position of 10-25 hours per month to carry out activities in the local area belonging to the local association.

Would you like to be part of Dyrenes Alliance as a coordinator?

We expect from you:

  • you are very outgoing, good at building relationships and motivating others

  • you are good at working with volunteers and other staff

  • you are responsible and motivated

  • you have the courage to go and want to explore new initiatives

  • that you have a knowledge of animal rights and veganism

  • that you support the aims and methods of Dyrenes Alliance

  • that you have a professional appearance when you are at work

  • you are good at organising, planning and coordinating

Your tasks:

  • organising activities and events in the local area of the local association for which you are coordinator

  • participate as an active role model in the activities and events you and the local association organise

  • planning and holding meetings with volunteers, the local association board and others

  • recruit, retain and motivate volunteers

  • to update and update the local association's Facebook

  • ensure that photos and, where appropriate, video are taken of the activities, which may be used on social media, etc.

  • to be in contact with Dyrenes Alliance office on a regular basis about status, ideas, time spent etc.

  • to be responsible for the accounts of the local association

In addition, you will be expected to attend 1-1 interviews once a month, as well as a joint coordinator meeting once a month. These meetings are mainly held at Zoom and last approximately 45 minutes.
In addition, there will be events organised by the National Association which you are encouraged to attend.

As a new coordinator, you will be thoroughly introduced to all the tasks, and you will have ample access to sparring with other coordinators and the secretariat who can help you.
