ABOUT THE RECORDINGS
All footage in the video Meet Your Meat shows conditions in Denmark. It comes from documents obtained from the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, TV news reports, and private recordings.
The vast majority of the footage was shot in Denmark, but in a few cases, we had to use footage from other countries due to photo rights. In these cases, we show footage where the conditions are identical to Danish practices and production methods. This concerns the gassing of pigs, the slaughter of chickens, and a few sequences showing the slaughter of cows.
The agricultural industry did not want to give animal rights organizations permission to use a number of recordings in the film "Meet Your Meat." However, the recordings are available to private users on YouTube, which is why we can show them here.

Join us in supporting our work for a world where we treat animals with more respect. For 15 years, we have worked to ban animal cruelty and abolished many practices such as dog, cat, fox, and seal fur in Denmark, banned cosmetic testing on animals in the EU, got over 200 companies to join the fur-free list, and got elephants out of circuses.
We have brought together hundreds of young people in the fight for animals and opened 16 local branches across Denmark. A large part of our current work is to ban practices in agriculture and reduce Danes' consumption of animal products through targeted campaigns such as the Vegan Challenge. Let's make a difference together—support us below.
