Say no to a Danish exemption – stop the mink industry!
The EU has decided to ban mink farming. This is an important and necessary step towards a more responsible and compassionate future.
But now Denmark is trying to obtain a special exemption so that the mink industry can continue here in this country. This will undermine the whole purpose of the EU's decision.
We can't let that happen.
Why is this important?
Mink live and die in small cages for an unnecessary luxury item.
The fur industry has previously posed serious health risks.
Denmark should be a pioneer – not go against the trend.

How the fur industry treats animals
Fur is not only used for new expensive coats. Millions of minks, foxes, raccoon dogs, raccoons, and rabbits, as well as dogs and cats, are killed every year so that we can adorn our hoods and boots with fur and have fur pom-poms on our hats.
